Education sets now available at

For the first time ever, LEGO is selling its current Education sets at, including SPIKE Prime, WeDo and a number of pre-school kits.

I was surprised to see that SPIKE is priced at just £299.99/$329.99 because if you buy from an educational retailer it's over £350 in the UK.

I've used both WeDo and SPIKE and both are excellent. WeDo is aimed at 7-8 year olds and provides the perfect introduction to programming for that age group.

SPIKE is more sophisticated and useful not only for teaching programming to older kids but also for building your own robots and other machines, like GBCs. The 45680 Expansion Set is also worth purchasing for the extra motor, distance sensor and 600 useful parts.

So, check out the sets available and buy something your kids will actually want to learn with while being home-schooled!
