You should link the set numbers next time as most people do not want to waste time typing in numbers.

Good luck with that maquette - I finally got one recently after a very long search. They're neither easy to find nor cheap....

I'd whole-heartedly agree with you in any other instance other than when discussing a list of UCS sets. :o)

^Yea I know every single set there jus by looking at the number. I can actually put an image to each number. MSIB just for those sets in gonna cost you about 6 grand, so good luck. I'm also trying to get a few of those as well as a few others.

I have the following, if the OP or anyone else is interested:

$999 - 10019 - New in box, great condition, but not sealed - manual and sticker sheet are excellent, stored in a protective envelope, the white internal Lego boxes are sealed - Retail box has the black and white front

$999 - 10030 - New in box, very good condition, but not sealed - manual is sealed and new, all 4 white internal boxes are sealed

$699 - 10143 - New and never built, however retail box is in rough shape, 6/10 condition, internally the manual is good condition, 1 of the 4 white boxes are open, but all Lego plastic bags are sealed, none of the Lego bricks are open

$899 - 10143 - New and never built, retail product box is not sealed, but in good overall condition, manual is new, all 4 white Lego boxes are sealed, much better condition than the one above

I think the Blockade Runner has dropped in value. Its been going on ebay for $600 NIB (I got one for $550 last month). Theres one up now and I would be surprised if someone pays the $700 starting price. I would pay $500 for a used Rebel Snowspeeder (10129) with instructions however.

@Dougout - anything is possible... There are always outliers, and I'll admit I've picked up some screaming deals on eBay...

On bricklink, the lowest priced 10019 is $900, the next lowest is $1,000.

If that $700 set had a better box on eBay, I might just buy it and add it to the inventory, but I don't care to do business with sellers who call a set "MISB" in the title, then have a damaged box in the listing. What else are they fudging?

Ok, $900 including FedEx Ground shipping with insurance, very well boxed in a large double-wall box with lots of bubble-wrap, within the lower 48, if anyone wants one...

Yea, I would say $900 is well worth the 10019. I have the 10198 but it just doesn't compare. I've bought from the seller that has the $900 10019 on bricklink and he usually has good prices so maybe the $900 is its current rate.

I just bought the battle of endor from a seller claiming MISB that was resealed. That stuff really bugs me even if all 8 bags were sealed and nothing was taken. It seems suspicious still.

If your in the UK (as i am) USC sets are a dream especially from America. About half the cost in and to get one here only have to pay to get it through customs which is never alot plus shipping. Although I need the money first so if @legofantexas or @Dougout want to give me a well paid job with them :-DDD

Does any one have a 10175 (Vader's TIE Advanced) for sale?
  • LegoboyLegoboy Member Posts: 8,827
I believe the OP is based in the States, which is a shame since I was half considering the thought of parting with one of my 7191s - in the Uk. Like @LFT, it wouldn't have been on the cheap though.

@flump6523 - It seems if you want the lowest price possible for a set like this, bidding on auctions on eBay seems to be the way to go, you may have to bid on many of them, but sooner or later one will go for less than you expect, you'll get a bargain.

If you just want to buy one outright from a ready seller who has a good one waiting for you, it will cost more than hunting auctions.

The plus side of buying from here or Bricklink is that you're dealing (usually) with a better seller who understands what they have, and not trying to sell "MISB" that has "only been opened once".

    Oh well...

I was looking for a 10175 as well. I could have found one.. Seller asks 200 Eur (about 167£) for a supposedly MISB, shipping included. Is this a good price?

Is this set brick-linkable? It seems that the stickers alone are 45£ on bricklink! Whoa..

@LegoFanTexas - Thanks for the advice, although I think you miss understand me. I'm considering selling one of mine, not buying.
  • DougoutDougout Member Posts: 888
@AvengerDr I'm not too good with conversions, but I think 200 Eur is 264 USD. Theres one on bricklink for $160 USD, thats a good price.
  • AvengerDrAvengerDr Member Posts: 453
@Dougout - It looks like so, though I'd then have to pay ~75$ (per usps.com prices) to ship it to the UK and import VAT (another 20% I guess) which if I did the calculations right would then result in ~270$ which is ~170£ again. :(
