10258 Creator London Bus

So I’m building #10258 and on page 100 there is a single pink round brick that is placed on the upper deck (that ends up under a seat). What is it for or meant to represent??

Yup - that little gum piece was such an ingenious addition by the designer!

Bubble gum eh! Proportionally that minifig would have had serious jaw ache!

Well, you know kids... "Let's see how many pieces we can fit in our mouths!"

Maybe it is multiple chewed bits all piled up. When I was at school, we weren't allowed gum but staff were not allowed in the final year students' common room (aside from breaking up fights) so it was not policed in there. So everyone used to put their gum on the side of a locker when they left the common room and it ended up being the size of a football.

My 5th grade teacher told us he had a jar of used gum. If he caught anyone chewing gum in class, they'd have to trade their piece for one from the jar, and chew that. I don't think anyone took the chance.
