Why Amazon AU usually has the best price among??

Why?

I am quite aware of prices and I have been keeping an eye on Amazon sites of different regions.

Amazon AU usually has the best price for Lego, followed by Amazon US, other Amazon sites
usually have the worst prices. In addition, the price on Amazon AU is usually surprisingly lower than that of Amazon US.

In all cases I mean Lego shipped from and sold by Amazon, not a third party seller is involved in the source or shipment.

I'm wondering what the reason is. Does it imply the primary reason is
that Lego is not very welcome in Australia?

    Not to avoid answering the question, but does this need another thread from the one that is already started? Perhaps the thoughts could be merged for further conversation?
