Spike Prime - getting started

A question for @Huw (or indeed anyone else who's au fait with the subject).  After reading the article about Huw using Spike Prime for controlling GBC's, I was tempted, so ordered a set (using the Amazon link on Brickeset, obviously!) and it arrived yesterday.

The instructions are... minimalist, so say the least, and consist of a couple of leaflets about disposing of items safely, and one link, to legoeducation.com/start

I'm working through that, but it talks about downloading a teaching App and a student app, and to be honest, I've no idea which one I've actually downloaded.  I assume it's the teacher's one.

I thought I'd work through some of the teaching exercises, just to understand the basics - I spent 10 years as a Cobol programmer, but I haven't used anything like Scratch, though I suspect it's not that difficult to figure out.

So Huw - which App do you use to code / control the Spike kit?

Cheers!

Cheers.  It's odd.  There are plenty of instructions for building things like a Robot arm, but there's absolutely nothing about the coding - it all seems a bit hit and miss.

All part of the fun, I guess.
