If you would like to be considered for displaying at Edinbrick 2020 - 16th of May, Potterrow Dome, Potterrow, Edinburgh the application deadline for displayers is Sunday 15th of March.
For those of you who don't know about Edinbrick, it's part of the BrickM8 group of shows (Glesga Brick, Braw Brick Show) in the central belt of Scotland. All of our shows are not for profit and instead raise funds for Fairy Bricks - who I think everyone has heard of by now.
Edinbrick is a one day show open to the public from 10:30am till 4pm, it's held in the Potterrow Dome on the University of Edinburgh Central Campus, in the city centre. After last year selling out on line we have expanded to a second room/floor in the building to give us more capacity for visitors and displayers.
We like to try and bring AFOLs out of the woodwork and have unearthed some fantastic builders over the years, often displaying for the very first time. It's a friendly show and we do our best to make sure everyone has fun.
If you'd like to get involved as a displayer please send me a PM or email
[email protected] - deadline for displayer applications is Sunday 15th of March (to give us time to allocate space etc). You don't have be an outstanding MOC builder, you might have sets which are rare you would like to show - Classic Space, Castle and Pirates are just an example. Or perhaps you have a few official sets which you want to build around to create a scene. Or you could have some of the bigger expensive sets which are exclusives and lots of kids and parents wouldn't normally get to see - Death Stars and Ghostbusters spring to mind. Don't get me wrong MOCs are more than welcome.
If you just want to see the set up first and don't mind helping out you can volunteer to help with stewarding etc (basically being able to direct people around displays) instead. Again just get in touch with me or via the email address for more info.
Of course if you don't want to display or volunteer you can always just come along as a ticket holder - tickets are on sale at www.ticketsource.co.uk/edinbrick or if you can make into Edinburgh at Wonderland Models or Lothian Road.

Sorry I forgot to post about that. Yes the Edinbrick event in May 2020 is cancelled. We are looking at other opportunities in the meantime.
