[US] Any good deals on CMF display cases out there???

Today I found some of the 8 figure display cases on clearance at Wal-mart for $8. Oddly, the 16 figure case I found was still $19.97. So, is anyone finding any deals on these anywhere? I'd like to get a few more cases so I have enough for all the current series of CMFs. Not really looking to spend $25 per at TRU.

I buy cases from the Container store for 10 bucks. They fit up to 21 figures (on the CMF stands) but I only put 16 in each. Just picked up another container for series 6. They're really nice :)

@yys4u: can you upload a pic of the container you use?
I like the minifigure display cases, just not TRU's price. I found some small ones at Target but they wanted $11.99 and theirs had no minifigure in it.

Im talking about the "Lego" display cases that come with the free "blank" minifig and hold either 8 or 16 and stack like bricks.

The small display cases at Target do not come with the mini figure inside. Plus is was $3 more than Walmarts everyday price. I got lucky finding 2 at a local Walmart.

*Note* This case wasn't my idea, I pretty much copied it verbatim from someone who posted here or somewhere else don't remember

Here's the display case. It has 3 black benches that can be arranged in a couple different formats, I like the step look. Then I used mounting putty and laid it strips lengthwise down the steps, then placed 7 display stands on each step. Then just arrange however many figures you want, I put 16 to represent how it would look with a complete CMF series.

^ nice. I see a container store is in Tigard Or. Looks like I'll fill some PAB boxes and yet some display cases! Thanks for the tip.

@yys4u Those look great. How much are they? Does it include the plexiglass?

@starfire2 yea that's why I love them! Keeps the dust out. They're $10. Apparently they were gonna stop carrying them (the store near me anyway) but decided to keep them and now they're really popular. They always have a decent amount when I go though.

@yys4u that case looks great, nice suggestion! What are the dimensions w/l/h approximately? I was thinking about putting the Architecture White House in it.

@yys4u Very nice...any idea if they can be ordered online? I found these:

Haha if only I had finished reading the comments I could have saved 10 minutes looking for that link.

@brickdancer the link legogeek has dimensions on it

*Edit* Funny, after reading the reviews, almost EVERY REVIEW was about how popular these are with disney vinyl collection... Only saw one review where the guy said he used it for his minifigures!

I'm going to visit the Container store at my earliest opportunity!
Pricewise these are perfect and it looks like they will be easier to obtain (and cheaper) than the 16 minifig display case 'brick' ($25 at TRU is ridiculous for them).

Those are great @yys4u! I was originally looking for something like that until I stumbled upon shadow boxes. But these would be great for displaying the larger figures like Jabba and orcs!

Too bad my nearest container store is in BFE!

I use something similar to yys4u's storage, but mine only accomodates 10 figs on their baseplates so I make bleachers from bricks to accomodate more. And the cases are made in Japan.

So, since this is under shopping USA/Canada, I don't know if the source of the product is relevant, but maybe they are also sold there? Here's a pic I got from the manufacturer:
