Anyone from Japan on here, and is able to order the Hayabusa Cuusoo set from Amazon.co.jp? PM me if you'd be willing to order this and ship to me. I can do trades, or pay with PayPal. Thanks.

Me too! Maybe we can get a group buy going?

^ Yeah, the Brits do the whole group buy/distribution thing all the time. Why not us? ;)

I'd be interested depending on the final cost.

It's stated release date is March 1st and is supposed to be ~$60 RRP. Are there any Japan based Brickset members?

Would Amazon JP ship overseas! I know FR does.
  • sidersddsidersdd Member Posts: 2,432
^ They may, but at least not for this item. I've tried. It tells me it cannot ship outside of Japan when I attempt. I need someone in Japan to order it, receive it, and then ship it to me.

I have ordered books from them successfully but as you say it seems they don't ship toys overseas.

Shame - I'd quite fancy one of the Hayabusa sets.

Hmm. Might have to talk to my friend in Japan about sourcing me one of these...or of course I could just get round to visiting her, which I've been dithering over for several months... :)

As of now, the price is 4420 yen per set on amazon.jp. Release date is Mar 2nd. I can order them off amazon.jp. Drop me a line if you're interested: [email protected]
Only problem is, amazon.jp's playing it the fellow-consumer friendly way by restricting the number of orders per set so that it doesn't get sold out too easily. So I may get only a handful of sets to be sold on a first-come-first-serve basis

I can accept payment in international postal money order ( not regular money order ) if that's okay. I may register to Paypal depending on how much orders I receive :P

@silber thanks for offering to help. How much do you think shipping 3 or 4 of these to Los Angeles would be?
  • Silber334Silber334 Member Posts: 147
I'll give you a quote when I get back from work. Sorry for keeping you waiting
  • Silber334Silber334 Member Posts: 147
That would cost about 6100 for express mail and would take about 3 business days. I'm talking about express mail as in EMS, and not DHL or UPS.

BTW, I don't think the admins would want me giving quotes publicly. Send me a PM or email to [email protected]
