I also appreciate the brick based rewards like the buildable red brick and the Creator Fountain that were available in NA a while back...

Not sure if this has been asked before. Once I have redeemed my points for a reward and been given a code to use can that code only be used on my account to redeem the reward or could I give it to someone else to use on their account? 

Just not sure if I will be placing an order in the next 60 days.

I believe there was just a fair amount of talk about calling customer service to un-redeem your points if you cannot use the reward.

For those interested the Pirates logo Coin and new sweepstake are now live on VIP after midnight in UK! I’ve already redeemed the code and hope to use it when I make a Ninjago Island subtheme order on March 1st - it makes some sort of thematic sense with ‘Islanders’ in the mix.

Anyone have experience with a code not working after redemption?  I'm trying to make a purchase, and redeemed for $20 off.  Site is saying promotion code is not valid.  Not sure if I should proceed with my purchase without it, or wait...

Just check that you are entering the code in the correct spot. Money off codes don't get entered in the promo code box, you have to go through to the payment screen and add it after you've entered the delivery address details (made this mistake myself).

That was the problem.  Thank you so much!  Now it's saying it can't authorize my payment though.  *sigh*

The ordering system is bizarre when it comes to promotions. Last friday I was about to place a £50 order with a VIP gift but couldn't checkout both the VIP gift and the fire truck/police boat as they both count as additional voucher promotions and only one can be included. Whereas today I was able to checkout with the VIP gift, the valentines box and the ox on a £85 order as the valentines and ox promotions are not free gifts that need codes.

I'm torn on the Blacksmith shop. Do I purchase today and get the Ox and flower polybag (not that fussed with either tbh) or risk leaving it until March 1st for the hope of a related GWP and play the general release day lottery? Are we due a medieval themed GWP?

I feel if they were going to do a GWP based on Castle as a theme it would’ve been tied to the release of the set, like other releases such as Colosseum or Mos Eisley Cantina. Seems also like a GWP would’ve leaked by now otherwise anyway.

For those who are interested - and I know you all are - the monetary value of the coin packs is exactly £9.11 in the UK. I got my Blacksmith order today and you can see the latter is listed as from Czech Republic with the RRP whilst the former is listed as from China too.



My Castle Coin case doesn’t seem to have been scratched in transit and the painting looks pretty good. There are a couple of tiny spots of grime inside the case though so I’ll be trying to remove those in due course. This is whilst looking through some of the translucent paper as things stand.

Maybe others will shoot me down but that tote bag is awful.

It's a bag, with the "Lego", "Ninjago" and "Hype" logos on it.

No characters, no Ninjago writing, nothing of any interest at all. Feels like a Friday afternoon job, knock off early and go to the pub watch Netflix.

At least the cap has Kai on it.

I'm not impressed at the delivery of VIP prints. I just received the yellow and red system one. It was just placed at the bottom of a box with sets put on top of it, no protection whatsoever, and the box has clearly been standing in water as the bottom of the box and the print is soaked. I was in to receive delivery, so it was not left on the doorstep.

It takes the piss that they emboss "Only the best is good enough" on the prints, when clearly this is not the case.

Mine survived but was also in the bottom of the box under the sets. You're right though it's no way to deliver these i.e. with no protection and at mercy of whatever is on top.

This was also brought up in the “what am I buying thread... I’m US based and the prints always come in cardboard protection like the pic below...

Not sure why the UK warehouse is doing such a poor job... I have to wonder if Lego ships them in cardboard and they are being removed from the protection at the warehouse.  In any case I would contact CS for a replacement...

I don't think that's entirely true. When I ordered the duck print when it was first available it was packed loose in the bottom of the box like UK folks are reporting.

Way back when I had the (Black VIP card exclusive!) UCS Y-Wing blueprint it came totally loose inside the box. I was just lucky it didn’t get moist or bent.

Mine is so wet any bends won't show, at least until it dries! Already contacted CS about it. It is annoying, it is the first print I've ever liked enough to purchase with points.

That is weird -  my Lego ships out of Romeoville, IL and all 5 or 6 of my prints (over the last year or two) came in the cardboard sleeve... maybe I have attained VIP Platinum status and thus warrant special attention! :-)

More annoying than them getting trashed during delivery.....why did LEGO choose the random 12.5"x10" for the print? Its not any kind of standard size and I can't find a frame to suit anywhere

I would have used a card bevel if it was good enough condition to frame.

Here in the US, Michael's Arts & Crafts sells an 11"x17" frame. I'm going to center mine on a sheet of 11"x17" paper and put a bit of tape to hold it on.

Total lockdown of all non essential shops here, so nothing available. I found somewhere that will custom frame it, but for £30, which seems excessive for a freebie!

It wasn’t until I  received mine that I really paid attention to the size and was baffled and annoyed Lego picked some random non standard size for these. Like you I’ve looked for frames, but no luck, only option would be a custom frame.

Worse its a different size to two other LEGO prints I have. I've got local chap looking at making something custom for it.

VIP rewards centre has been updated again. Only new things I noticed were:

• 50 point VIP pass for the VIDIYO app (assume it could be the same kind of pass included in the ‘welcome pack’ some of us applied for the other day, unlocking some more songs etc. and maybe some kinds of additional sweepstake in the app?)
• Sweepstake to win L.L.A.M.A’s roller skates (I entered once, because why not?)

Unfortunately no extra VIP coin yet for those that are interested. We know there are still the Classic Space, City Octan and stud/logo coins based on the display case so seems they could be spread out more than we expected.

Saw that, I think it is the code from the backstage packs, as soon as mine ever arrives I'll check. LEGO dropped the ball slightly with the backstage pack not arriving on release day or before. Its like getting a VIP pass when the concert is almost over!
