[FS UK] Cavegod ATAT MOC

tristanbanetristanbane Member Posts: 33
Next up for sale from my collection is the amazing ATAT designed by Cavegod.

With over 6000 pieces of lego it is HUGE!

I'm asking for £900 which is less than I paid for the bricklinked lego. All lego was bought new and has never been near cigarette smoke or animals.

I'm based in Belfast if collection is preferred, otherwise I'm willing to pay postage to anywhere in the UK and Ireland.

I think I saw this one at a lego event a number of years back and can testify to it's hugeness!

Also remember a kid knocked the head off..!

I am currently disassembling the model. It is very modular so each section will be in a labelled bag.

The legs actually use the, much stronger, alternative build by major bricks. The instructions are available on youtube here: https://youtu.be/MgrHPZLmMV0

I only have the lego for this alternative build but it is far superior than the original and makes the legs able to hold the behemoth up without the need for glue.

The original legs are able to support the body without glue - I've displayed mine publicly on a number of occasions and it's certified kragle-free!

Agreed. I've built with the original version also (this is the second time I've owned this model!). This revised method makes the legs indestructible!

A little bonus gift which seemed appropriate!
