UCS Star Destroyer scale question

I am looking at getting the UCS Star Destroyer and I am wanted to create a little scene using some of the advent calendar A-wings, Y-wings and X-wings. My question is would they scale with the SD correctly or are they a little to large. I know that there is a mini tie fighter with it. But I am guessing that it is a little out of scale?

I had this same issue when I bought #70820 hoping to use the Formidaball build alongside #70839. It was wildly out of scale, hahaha. It was easy enough to cobble together a reasonable microscale version though.

I'd assume that getting scale X-wings will be difficult to scale to the micro Tantive IV. It's a large cruiser that looks to already be constructed with the bare minimal parts. I think you can probably fudge the scale here though, given the sheer size of the main model.

As a reference for scale this shot shows you might get away with displaying the Falcon mini build (although it's still slightly too big).

X-wings, Y-wings & A-wings are going to be massively oversized for the scale of the SD.

I think that is the part of the issue as it is sort of in scale but only to the SD. The reference material I have shows A-wings attached to the Blockade Runner. At that size they would be tiny. Much smaller than the micro builds

Thanks @bandit778 they do seem like they are going to be out of scale. That is annoying wish they could have made it a bit bigger to make me happy! I might have to look at one of the bigger MOCS of the SD instead.

Just to give the other end of the scale for an SD that would sort of fit with the star fighter micro builds, Midlife-crisis on Eurobricks built the nose section of a Star Destroyer to a rough scale with Mortesv's Nebulon-B and the star fighter builds of the same scale (which are slightly bigger than the micro builds but smaller than the full on polybag sets). It was said in the thread somewhere that this was roughly 9% of a Star Destroyers length starting from the narrowest point. (Top Left of the picture).

I know for a fact that the Blockade Runners are fairly big builds so that section of the Star Destroyer is one big lump of LEGO.

That is an amazing looking fleet! I saw in the thread it was likely  Mortesv’s Nebulon B has always been something I meant to get around to. I might have to do some calculations to try and see what would need changing. I think I will start with the micro fighters length and then scale up. As a CR90 is about 12 X wings long so that would tell me my scale. Then try to see what length everything would need to be. I might use the SD as a starting point for my own.

So I used a Lego size guide to work out my fleet. The A wing from the advent calender is 5 studs long, which if I am not going to a too small size is around 1:250 scale. That would make the lego x-wing 6 studs long. Then sizing up the CR90 would be 80 studs long. Which I think is a little shorter than the ones in that picture @bandit778? It would still make a star destroyer over 6 meters long at 800 studs. So it is a little longer than I was planning!

I don't think that 80 studs would be that far out to be honest (Rough working from the x6 plates it stands on. See pic below).

A six meter long Star destroyer would probably be pushing it unless you have a barn to build in (and a very patient partner).

Hmmmm that is interesting that it is the rough scale. It looks a gorgeous model. Yeah, 6 meters is a little bit out of my capacity at the moment! I think I might look at just slightly up scaling the current sd and then dealing with the fighters being the wrong size.
