Both sets look like they have a lot of potential on initial glance. But in some ways, the Dubai one (which I would have initially been most interested in) looks a bit on the sparse/bare side.

The Dubai one is a bit boring, but then there is not much they can do about that.

The Tokyo one is lovely. As a group the buildings look great, and the mountain really sets them off nicely. And it looks like Tintin is visiting too :-)

Have you been to Dubai? That's a pretty accurate description of the city, tbh.

I bet Dubai is lovely, but I have no interest in going there or having this. Doesn't have the kind of character I am interested in.
Doesn't help that all the snaps I see from my wife's friends on FB that she shows me, all look like bland hotels with a lot of sand or sky in the background... the captions do not make it much more interesting.
    Tokyo looks nice though.

Tokyo is great. I’m impressed by their rendition of the Burj al Arab at that scale, but what the heck is the Dubai door frame supposed to be?

Thanks. Given I’d never heard of it, it seems like it’s not acting as much of a symbol for the city :)
