Lego Trade Meets

Jackad7Jackad7 Wisconsin Member Posts: 489
A friend happened to run across a local LEGO group from the area and was kind enough to grab me a brochure. Apparently they are having a buy/sell/trade meet coming up and I was just wondering if anyone here has experience with this sort of thing. I will probably go check it out but I don't feel like lugging a bag full of extra sets+figures I'm not attached too only to find out no else is interested either.

I was wondering if anyone here has gone to something like this and what your thoughts on the event were. What should I bring and are people generally pretty straight forward or are there a lot of sharks?

Sounds like a great idea ,if people in the group were in contact beforehand to see what's on offer, but go and see what it's like for a sense of what's actually going on
