Hi, Would just like to introduce myself to everyone and say hello.

I have just started collecting Star Wars lego only in the last month so am completely new to the lego scene. My son has just turned 3 years and having grown out of Duplo quickly, has started using "proper" lego. He loves the Cars theme stuff but happy with anything at the moment. I did purchase a few Star Wars bits for him before Christmas but having seen his heavy handed tactics decided to display them in my study instead until he is older (much older!). I have promised myself one item a month but because of the sales, have purchased a few more this time. I will grab any discounted star wars my budget allows but more interested in the original Star Wars items then the Clone Wars stuff I see and don't really know what they are.

I also have a daughter aged 5 years who loves the Friends range and probably will love the Disney Princesses.

I hope to add as much to the forum as I will receive.

Hello! It really has been frickin' freezin' here the last few days hasn't it?!

There have been some good bargains of late on 2011 SW sets, so a good time for you to be getting into it. I'm really looking forward to getting some of this year's SW range (when it gets discounted!!), wasn't so keen on last year's.
Glad to hear your daughter likes Friends (me too!).

Hope you enjoy yourself on the forum and in this new world of Lego you are entering. Be warned: you will end up buying far more than you ever intended to!!

It's going o be hard having a limit to buy each month as I'm on the same boat :(

Its already cost me a trip to Legoland and a night in the new Legoland hotel at Windsor which I booked this morning. Although with the new Star Wars exhibits I'm quite looking forward to it.

I saw the Superheros stuff in Westfield the other week and thought it looked cool. Good luck.

    Hello! *shivers*

Glad your daughter likes the friends sets too, I think they're ace. Might be worth getting the little cars set (think it's the spy zone) that has the pink car and another one in it that they can share together, just so she doens't get too hung up on one theme!
