Anyone collect Rock Raiders?

In the box of old Lego I'm sorting, there are some Rock Raiders stuff: Granite Grinder, most of the Loader-Dozer and almost all of the Rock Raiders HQ, minus the big baseplate. What is the interest level in this stuff?

If you were in the UK I would trade you. I quite like the theme. They tried to redo it with Power Miners but I personally don’t think it was quite as good. The figures set rock raiders crew or something like that is a nice one.

Quite a lot of AFOLs don’t seem to like Rock Raiders so much, seemingly because it used ‘big parts’ like the drill, chassis and canopy pieces. But I’m not one of these people and really enjoyed the theme and at the time it was released, had most of the sets including the HQ (in fact my parents still have a home video of me opening it at Christmas). The laser beam bricks were very nice - you might want to check whether those are working because I think the batteries are replaceable. That big baseplate will be quite hard to source though, I think that particular pattern was only ever used for the Rock Raiders HQ.

I have the big baseplate if you wanna trade. I bricklinked the HQ yrs ago when my boys were younger/interested. Now we've moved on to Power Miners & I don't use the. baseplate for anything

@gelkster I'll let you know. I need to figure out if I have all the rest of the parts or not.

Ok. I have some spare 2x2 45° & 2x3 33° printed slopes left over from it, & some RR vehicle parts (brown rollcages, chrome drills, & a large wheeled vehicle base)

I’ve heard fun things about this. Although never had any of the sets myself.

I liked this theme, my first non-Space or non-Star Wars them collected post-Dark Ages. The big pieces are indeed fairly limiting at this scale (although Lego used the big vehicle chassis parts in a large crane set years later), but the sets are interesting with decent playability and the gray/teal/yellow color combination looks pretty good on display.
