When you said "matey" I too was heart broken, haha. Just for Sh*ts and giggles, what would you have offered me? I am just trying to get a feel what to sell them for. Someone on craigslist offered me $1,400 for the set, but he wasn't local and I do not trust non local people on craigslist.
