    We will both still be there with bells on.We haven't been to one before so have no preconceived ideas and will go in with open minds.

    I expect you will!  I wouldn't rush to buy tickets, wait for cheap tickets.  No fan zone, curious what retail will be there too. Expect lots of brick pits, the ocean exhibit that will have spend the previous few months at Edinburgh zoo and not much else.  Kids will prob have fun for a few hours, despite the blurb, not much for adults.  If you want afols, a trip to Peterhead for Brickmania is closest.  That or museum of flight near Edinburgh this weekend (im spending the weekend there displaying under concordes wing) or Glesga Bricks in September.

    Not trying to be negative, the general feeling along the afols up here is that's been oversold.
