Reissuing LEGO Video Games

Given how so many other video game publishers have reissued their older titles; I wonder if eventually, LEGO would ever consider reissuing the old LEGO Media titles from the late 1990s/early 2000s; updating them to work on modern PCs. Perhaps release them on Steam?

I wouldn't mind an updated Lego Star Wars for the Nintendo Switch. Maybe wait until Episode 9 is out and release all 9 movies in one game? The ultimate complete saga. Bam!

Lego have reissued Lego Star Wars I and II as one game, as well as Lego Harry Potter 1-4 and 5-7. I don't think they will ever reissue anything earlier than those. A complete saga Star Wars game is rumoured, though, but it won't be the same when they're all talking... :'(

Some new original IP stuff would be cool... I'm thinking a new lego racers would probably do well... probably won't happen though.

I'm imagining a Mario Kart-style Lego game, where you customise your vehicle for certain power-ups. I guess they already did that with Dimensions, though.

I'm late to this thread, but something was said at the recent Star Wars Celebration about rumors of another Complete Saga game coming out late this year or early 2020.  The rumor is that is would include all 9 films plus spin-offs....take that as you find it. I guess we will see what happens. In my opinion, the last couple of games have suffered in quality, and they need to go back to the gameplay and feel of the previous games!
