So avengers tower #40334 the gift with purchase.  I’m torn cause I kinda like the iron man torso but I dislike the lack of other unique parts.  I’ve tried to find an iron man similar to mark 8 transforming but can’t find a suitable representation of this in the movies or bricklink iron man collections.  I debated putting him with my sanctum Santorum but I have the bricktober marvel jogging suit tony who has more printing and better fits that scene.  I worry that I will regret skipping this iron man, but I don’t want to support his lazy design and only exclusive torso with plain legs.

opinions?  Buy or no?

i would pick up new spider man sets and a couple keychains to reach $75 If that helps, and they are already on sale elsewhere.

You might as well, honestly. If you like the figure, get it right now and also enjoy those Spider-man sets that that you want. The cost of Bricklinking him later when you finally decide you really need that minifig will likely exceed the discounts you'd get buying the sets elswhere.

And you can probably find someone only looking for the pieces of the Tower.  ( @SumoLego )  And working out a trade to recoup some of the cost.

... and maybe get the white-suit Iron Man poly...

I was on that same situation when I first saw the minifig. The design looks lazy and the only real appeal to me was the tower. So I decided to skip it and try bricklinking the pieces needed to build the tower. I already checked which sets have the Avengers logo #76123 #76131 all I'm going to need are those darn bows and tube pieces.
