6921: Monorail Accessory Track

Hello,

I recently came across a few complete boxes of Legoland Space System Monorail Accessory track (http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=6921-1) as pictured in the link. I checked online and there are 2 sellers on Amazon who are selling these boxes for quite price. Anyone have any feedback on this set and its actual value. My sources say it is pretty rare. There have only been a few monorail sets released by Lego. If anyone is interested or has information to provide, please email me: cypresswoot (at) yahoo com.

It's rare by virtue of its age (produced in 1988) and was sold as an accessory so I don't think it saw as wide a production as the monorail sets themselves did. But I wouldn't say that it's exceedingly rare, and certainly not ~$1000 rare.

Anything monorail is high value as it's just so rare these days. I'm sure some people will think they can retire on it and chance their luck with silly prices, but people will only pay what it's worth to them. @tthhii - what condition were the sets you found?
