Issues with Powered Up and 76112 Batmobile
I recently picked up
#76112 App-Controlled Batmobile at over half off RRP as my first foray into powered Lego (and partly for the minifigure!). I enjoyed the build, simple though it was, and I like the finished vehicle despite its squat stature. It reminds me a lot of Zane's Tumbler from
#70588.
However, I'm having issues with controlling the vehicle using the app; it's often unresponsive and the controls that power the wheels have a tendency to stick, so the wheel keeps turning after I stop touching the control, or just not work at all. Sometimes I can here the motor whining and other times not. The thing is, the preprogrammed functions like the wheelie and the various spins etc. always work so it doesn't seem to be an issue with connectivity or the motors themselves.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues? Am I using it wrong or is this one for Customer Services?

However, I've just been on the Play Store page which is filled with reviews containing issues of a similar nature, many of which suspect that the software is buggy. There are some replies from Lego acknowledging this and apparently an update is due very soon, so I guess it's a 'wait and see' situation for now.
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S9, I admit I haven't used #76112 for some time as theres always something else to build or kids stuff to do! #But I will try to test it once the kids go up to bed...
