LEGO Ruins Ideas?

I need help with ideas for a custom LEGO ruins display, to add some substance to my Jungle sets. I’d like the setting to be an old Conquistador outpost but honestly as long as it is ruins and matches the exploring theme I’ll make it. I’m considering later on having the expedition calling in a small mining and logging crew as well later on. If you guys have any custom or sets you can show for me to get inspiration from I’d appreciate it I’d also appreciate a list of the bricks needed to complete the ruins

The Atlantis theme was amazing for this. Lots of column, arch, and masonry pieces.

Similar to LEGO ideas, but right now the display would just be a personal piece but if it becomes popular once I share the finished product I may submit it

The title of this thread made me think this was a complaint about the recent changes to the Ideas website! Anyway, I agree with @klinton. #7985 was especially good for this.

Yeah I completely  forgot there was a LEGO ideas page when I published this, I appreciate the recommendations I’ll look into them

Also, there was a Jungle sub theme of Adventurers 20 years ago that had some interesting sets you might want to check out. You can buy most of them reasonably priced on Bricklink or EBay used.

Have you tried google? Search for LEGO (castle) ruins inserting whatever type of ruin you are after. There are lots at different scales / part counts.

I started there and eBay but I am having trouble finding the bricks I need for what I have envisioned in my head, maybe I’m searching the wrong series the bricks would have been in or the wrong brick type?

Indy Jones and the Pirates/Islanders theme have some cool stuff that might fit...
