(Not to trample on @MinifiguresPlus thread, but if someone wants to order a case and work out a trade with me for something else of similar value - please PM me.  For example, I have a Taj Mahal and an Assembly Square.)

^ LOL! Imagine the screaming and moaning about a "1 in 10 cases" figure.

also the May series is heavily heavily rumored to be Disney 2 :)

Any update on a set of 20 price yet?

^They probably need to verify the set distribution per case. If it's 3 sets of 20 per box it will make things easier I imagine.

Ok, distribution is verified. We will be selling the sets (of 20) for $75 ea.

Again, free domestic shipping. $10 for international shipping.

Thank you all for your patience with that!

Are you able to share the distribution?

With a price of $75, I'm guessing that there are three complete sets per box.

IM guessing that if the set is 20 figures, and the count is 60, 3 sets per box

Looks like the Unikitty style packages. Increase in RRP soon?

Would the crayon/giraffe head fit in the normal bag?

I read somewhere yesterday that these are taller bags, with the figure in a second bag inside the first. So double bagged, making it harder to feel for a figure. Can't find where I read it now, though, so might just be speculation.
edit. Found it, though probably not allowed to link to another Lego site from here. Says "This new TLM2 minifigure series will be using similar packaging as the Unikitty Collectible Series (41775) which is slightly taller and the parts are in a bag inside another bag"

I’m ok with the double bags. Honestly, I’m buying so little LEGO now that I’ve stopped hunting for figs in exchange for buying a full box. I give the remaining figs as gifts and keep the rest to sell at a point where I need the space.

That said, I’m one person and in a big minority....I’d hate the double bag if I was bag feeling.
  • CCCCCC Member Posts: 20,526
^^ That is from thebrickfan, so like most things they publish, pure speculation. The packets are a similar size / shape to Unikitty, but they are just speculating about the double bagging based on the Unikitty series.

I did see a photo on Instagram that showed one of the minifigs inside a clear bag within the typical blind bag.
  • CCCCCC Member Posts: 20,526
Yeah, just seen it on instagram too. Thebrickfan don't use that image or comment on it or their sources, so still speculation on their part.

I wonder if the new bags will also mean a return to spare parts like the unikitty collectibles have had? Saw a picture of the tin man that had some extras but was a leak so not always accurate.

I have just got a box, I will be opening and making (hopefully) 3 sets of. Will post a link in Marketplace for the 2 extra sets I hopefully have made, within the next 24hours. If anyone UK based would like a set, please PM me your interest. The cost for me £3 per figure, and I need to open, post and pack, so would be £75 total, with recorded delivery to UK, so I'm not looking to profit, just cover my time opening and collecting today, just don't need 3 sets :) and hopefully will save someone the hassle of hunting, like I am bored of doing. If all goes well, latest you'd have them is Tuesday next week.

From those I have so far I am in receipt of two spare pink microphones, a claw for Benny's robot arm, 3L bar for Abe's axe and the usual bits for Unikitty.

Spare plant piece with giraffe, spare melon piece with watermelon guy, each of the band girls  has a spare mic, and as mentioned, spare heart and bow ties with tin man.

Have looked, there are a few I'd like, but, tbh, I need my outlay back in numbers rather than sets, although, I do like the boxed SC McLaren P1

Can anyone confirm if these are remotely "feelable" for specific figures being in the dual bags?
  • benbacardibenbacardi Member Posts: 712
Definitely. I haven't bought one of every figure, but in the couple I had that were double bagged, it was only a selection of the parts that were. The crayon outfit, for example, was outside the inner bag, so easily feelable - and I could feel Toto through the inner bag for Dorothy. I don't think it actually makes much of a difference!
  • iso3200iso3200 Member Posts: 2,065
^^Yes. All of the figures are pretty easy and the dual bags don’t present much of a problem either.
  • BastyBasty Member Posts: 494
Just bought my first ever set of CMF. Wanted the crayon, watermelon and giraffe. After feeling every bag in WHSmith, to my surprise I got all 3! The giraffe wasn’t as easy as i thought it would be.
