Be careful buying current sets at too-good-to-be-true pricing on eBay. More often than not they are drop shipping to you from Lego or Amazon with stolen credit card info. This can potentially get you blacklisted from buying at those stores or other problems.

Not trying to be a Debbie Downer and hopefully you got a legit deal but just wanted you to know to that is a common fraud routine with Lego on ebay

Thanks Bumblepants . I never heard of this before and was more worried if Lego is ever faked .

Especially as that eBay user might be a member since 2005 and have 100% positive feedback, but this is the first time they are selling anything.
Sounds like the person's account was taken over and somebody's now running a scam.

I think it's definitely a scam, sorry. Too cheap, multiple items available, first ever sales on Ebay.

Does look very suspicous at that price.

Yeah your right. It's been cancelled by ebay.  Apparently a hacked account.

Thanks guys. I will take a look at Smyths , at least I got my money back. There were some more turned up too. At least now I know. With watches it was fakes , is this ever a problem with Lego?

Also £92.99 on Amazon - if that helps. I feel eBay is getting riskier with more scams in general but maybe I’m just risk adverse 😱

Lego also have it as a Deal this week with 30% off, if you wanted Lego points

For price reference, I think the original one on this thread was about £30 before it was pulled by ebay.
