Black Friday 2018

Too early? Saw the November Lego calendar had the 23rd to 26th for Black Friday deals. Anybody heard any juicy rumors on sales?

Im not sure there are going to be a lot of awesome deals on BF. There used to be, but rarely does LEGO appear as an 'awesome' deal any longer.. Sometimes a decent set will appear at Target for 40% off, but typically those sets are not above about 80 dollars now. TRU is gone (not like they had good BF deals the last couple of years) and Walmart got rid of their large tub of parts for 50% deals they used to do. Now they do a smaller set at about 50% that really is not worth it to go fight your way into a store on BF, or wait up all night for the deal to appear online.

I could be surprised but I doubt it.

Will be interesting to see if the LEGO stores are doing any pre BF deals to get the promos early I guess.

Yea, I have to do everything by mail order. I am hoping for at least a few sales on the LEGO site and that it doesn’t lock up during the sales. I can’t get out to the stores this year.

Best bet is always going to be with the big retailers and Amazon!

So, thebrickfan.com has a summary so far of BF 'deals'. I guess Im not worried about spending most of my cash at [email protected] for promos anymore, unless Amazon does something nuts of course.

I will say this, as someone noted in another thread, with all of these stores piling LEGO up to take advantage of no TRU I have a feeling there could be massive clearance deals to be had after Christmas.
