Bricksetter Instagram Accounts

I saw some discussion about LEGO instagram accounts in another topic.

I've recently picked up the app and thoroughly enjoy getting to interact with other collectors on the app. I was actually quite surprised at how robust the LEGO community is on there.

I'd love to follow a few other bricksetters!

My account is @rarest_lego_minifigures ; I like to feature some of the rare items in my collection as well as progress updates on little MOCs I put together.

Please post your Instagram handle(s) and maybe a bit about your page below!

I follow you @samiam391, have for a little while. You've got a great account!

I'm @px_chris on Instagram, though I don't (currently) post a lot of LEGO photos. The account is very heavily focused on my favorite band, whom I also happen to work with.

My Instagram account is @brickventures.  I post about my adventures in finding, collecting, building and overall enjoyment of Lego.  I also post about my Lego projects like my Lego classic set restoration and building the vehicles from the Lego build-it book.

I have been an AFOL fairly recently (late 2013).  I accidentally got into Lego while I was helping my son build his sets when he was a toddler.  I did not experience any dark age since I did not have Lego when I was young, growing up in a third world country.

I’m looking forward to check-out/follow other bricksetters in Instagram!

I've thought about posting Lego to my Instagram account, but I'm not a great photographer. Also, it's a private account followed entirely by non-FOLs to whom I post memes specially designed to offend specific members of the group. As a matter of fact, I think my sister is up next...

Mine's @angelinebadams. It's not specifically a Lego account but I'm planning to post more of my builds, particularly since I'm getting into toy photography in general (Tachikoma, anyone?) and minifigs are great for that. Basically it's 30% telling my weird health story, 30% everyday life and 40% photographing pretty stuff and documenting anything creative I'm doing (currently I'm behind with Inktober but I'm planning to catch up shortly).

I'm @demarcation_media. I do Toy Photography in general, but it heavily features Lego, since that's what I started photographing.

Like @Baby_Yoda, my old/everyday account is private and none of my friends are as into Lego as I am... so I set up this one to stop bugging everyone. A couple of people did follow me over though! My posts are mostly attempts at humour with my minifigures, some work out much better than others!

I see a few of us have already 'met' over on Instagram - it's great to link the photos to the people on the forum :)

Mine is @LegoCollectorUK , I like to update it with any unique / different pieces I pick up, most ot the images are posted on here as well via different threads,  but I also like to have it all on one page as well which is where Instagram comes in to its own.

One thing I always do though with images before they are posted, is strip all the meta data out of them, thus the coordinates are removed, and this stops any naughty people knowing the exact location. The app I use is ViewExif.
  • benbacardibenbacardi EnglandMember Posts: 295
^ Instagram strips all that information anyway, unless you explicitly set the location for a photo, which will then appear above it in the feed (I'm not sure if they put that back into the EXIF data - I doubt it).

Photos of my hauls, and the stuff I'm adding to the BrickLink/BrickOwl store.

If you're into photos of piles of unsorted parts, this is the account for you... :D

You can find me on Instagram @bricked1980. I post a new picture every day either of one of my MOCs or pictures of my vintage Lego collection. Also a few pictures of my town layout made up from homemade cardboard road plates which always gets quite a bit of interest on instagram.

    My username is @not_a_reptile ;

It's kind of random, there is some Lego on there, it's also open so feel free to have a look.

I'm toying (pun) with the idea of making an account just for toys (see) and stuff, can't justify it right now though.

Morning everyone, my daughter got me into Instagram a while back and although I list London, Poland, History and Walking, you will see the vast majority is now LEGO minifigures in various places!

The only downside to Instagram seems to be that most users (unless they follow you) just like a couple of the most recent and it misses such good shots from further back in time, so I tend to go through a user's entire account, liking all the ones I like, unless it's several years worth!
