Powered Up remote control

I have bought two #60197 train sets and they both have their motors and PU hubs in. I can connect one at a time to the remote control or app, and know I can only connect one at a time to the app, but the Lego help pages says you can connect two to the remote control but I can't make them do that. (And the help guide doesn't tell you how.) Anyone know how you connect two at the same time? Thanks!

I think you need to pair them to the same "colour" and they'll operate together. But I have not tried this myself...
