Best way to sell collection - UK

Mojojojo86Mojojojo86 Member Posts: 4
Hi all,

With a heavy heart I am having to sell a lot of the Lego I have accumulated over the years.

What is the best way to do this, would it be better to sell each item individually or sell the whole thing as a lot.

I've attached a list of the sets I have, I'm selling all minus the cargo train. I have the instructions and boxes for nearly all.

I also have some older sets such as 6077, 5988 and 6989 which I want to move as well.

Any suggestions?

My advice would be to sell individually. Set a price you'd like for each and add a new comment to your marketplace thread. Using the 'hashtag shortcut' will help buyers identify your sets too... simply add # before the set number and the forum will automatically link to the main database. For example: #76054

Rgr. In terms of pricing should there be a guide to follow? Or is there any good reference websites?

Have a check on each sets page on here & that shows both the rrp & the bricklink pricing (RoW, EU & UK). That should give you a rough idea of what people are asking for (although you'd have to go to the sets on bricklink to see what sort of prices they've been selling for)

The Wolverine Chopper Showdown is pretty desirable (Deadpool obvs.) but yes as per above the average last 6 months sold prices on Bricklink are usually a pretty good indicator based on new/sealed/used quality. But in my experience it fluctuates slightly throughout the year - and selling between September and Christmas is often the best time.

Super lots which includes tonnes of items can be quite off putting - I've found things I like multiple times that are part of a super lot but 99% of it I don't want. If everything goes individually, it may trickle out gradually but it should be going steadily even if not all at once.
