Weight of LEGO bricks from the Tower Bridge Set

I was wondering if anyone knew the weight of Tower Bridge de-boxed?  It says 9.5 lbs so I'm guessing 7.5 lbs would be close.  If anyone knows it would be very helpful for me.  If not, I will probably de-box one and find out myself soon enough anyways.  Thanks

    if you find the ‘box only’ item on bricklink, you will know the weight of the box and can simply subtract that from the total weight. (Sorry I work in kg and g)

    My tower bridge is about 7 lbs, 8.2 oz (just the bridge...i.e. bricks). Not counting instructions.
