Buying Help in Cape Coral, Fl

Hey everyone!

Im currently on holiday (vacation) in Cape Coral (from the U.K.) and I am wanting to treat myself to some Lego and save a few pounds but I can’t decide where to buy.

my options seem to be;
Walmart/Target - But mostly have smaller sets and are cheaper online than in store (not an issue but still frustrating)
Lego Store but closest is Miami and I’m not sure if this will be any better than online
Legoland but further than Miami but should have best selection and possibly the benefit of the Theme Park
Online delivered

I have a VIP account so unless on offer Lego direct seems the way to go

Does anyone have any suggestions on there if I’ll find any deals at Legoland or the Lego Store?

Anyone with good knowledge of bargain sets that take better advantage of the $ to £ exchange rate?

Thank you in advance

The Sawgrass Mills store is closer to Cape Coral. They have some figure packs at 10% off but definitely not worth a two hour trip.

You are in between Walmart and Target clearance times. I'd expect Walmart to start Nationwide clearance in the next month though. Other than that, the pound is still stronger that the dollar so you may be able to take advantage of regular deals in the stsres. You can order from Walmart and Amazon and other places and have it delivered to your hotel or wherever you are staying if you are there long enough.

Thank you, online it is then

Now I’ve got to decide how badly I want the Minecraft Mountain Village....and if I’ll have to pay for excess baggage

I don’t play minecraft (don’t understand it) but there is somthing about that set that appeals to me

Shucks, Lego shipping is 2-8 days and I fly Thursday

So do I go to Legoland/Miami or buy from Walmart (even then I’m running out of time) and lose VIP points??

Can I get VIP points in store without my card or can I add on later with proof of purchase?

They can look up your vip account by email I believe.

They will look up your VIP by email. I used to live in the Sawgrass Mills store area, and I had lost my VIP card. They looked it up every time I went there... and I went often enough that they knew me by name.

If you find a better price on Target’s web site, the store should match it for you.

Don't waste a trip to Legoland.  Nothing is ever on sale, some times sets are even priced higher than retail, no points earned, etc.  Some times they will have some sets out that shouldn't be released yet and some times an exclusive polybag or 2 that u can't get anywhere else but that's about it.

Well I should have known better than to order for pickup from Walmart as all 3 of the sets have damaged boxes
