Booster Bricks

I got an email today about a new subscription service. It’s from Booster Bricks.  I have seen some skeptical posts about subscription services here on the forum, so I wanted to get some opinions of this new subscription service.
This is what they are offering:
First, Members each receive a monthly LEGO shipment jam-packed with LEGO pieces, challenges, and more including: the Premier Challenge, the micro-Build Challenge, the Minifig Challenge, the Spotlight piece Challenge, the Blindfold Build, and much more!
Each individual build challenge pack is brought together by the Monthly theme and story - so they all (no pun intended) "build" off one another. :)

So, you've got your Challenge Box, the monthly LEGO building experience. But what really makes the Booster Bricks Club especially unique is the amazing community:

All members receive exclusive access to our Private Facebook Group of LEGO builders with exclusive contests, bonus challenges, build tips, special giveaways and live build-games, as well as early access to Flash Deals before anyone else!

Our goal is to not be just another "un-boxing" subscription box, but to be a truly memorable experience that encourages creativity, innovation, and amazing family moments. :)

I don’t know the price is going to be nor do I know how much it’s going to be in the box. I’d love to see if anyone on here could give me some insight or some feedback on their previous subscription services.

Previous boxes have had few genuine Lego elements. And even then, you are paying monthly for stuff you may not want as well as paying the postage and people behind the subscription box. Seems like a waste all around.

Brick Tsar has a couple of youtube videos on it.

It looks like all the junk that doesn't sell in a BL store stuffed into clam shell packaging.

Pretty much what I’d expect. Chances are it costs a lot for what you get...and the parts for the “challenges” didn’t even seem well suited to the challenge.

I watched a couple of the reviews a while back and someone noted that every gets different stuff too. So it appears that they are not planned in any way, just random junk with a common challenge in all boxes. Some of the parts don't even look new (as in unused) either.

I've not heard a single positive thing said about any of these services.

I can't quite work out whether the people behind this actually think they're providing anything of value, or whether it is a thinly-veiled scam. The parts selection was terrible, the quality looked poor (mostly well-used) and the reviewer even pointed out a MB part that got into one of the boxes.

    No thank you.

It could be crap they've found in thrift shops or on Ebay for cheap that they're reboxing trying to make a quick buck off AFOLs.

    It ain't that easy...
