There’s an interesting pic out there of a 3000+ piece set 70840. Statue of Liberty scene with a bunch of minifigs.

Edit: Just noticed this in the leaks thread, feel free to delete if needed.
Hello, my new most wanted set ever. Man, that looks good...

It's fantastic. I love it. It's a wonderful design, there's bags of humour, it will be an essential part of the theme!

    BUT...

I still wish LEGO would dial back the number of expensive sets they are making.

Really weird to see that one guy with a flesh color muscle chest and yellow arms. Looks careless but maybe that is the point?

Really? I only buy one or two sets costing over 200$ in a year, but I do love the fact that there is an increasingly larger variety to choose from. Of course, most of us want them all, but realistically (due to space and/or finances) few of us can expect to acquire every set. The larger the pool of options we see, the more likely there will be at least a couple that are really exciting to us individually (as opposed to just buying the latest Star Wars UCS set or modular to have something large to build).

I’m really digging this set and that style as an entire statue would be very appealing. Need more sand green.

Bad Cop/Good Cop is in it?! Yet, he is not in the film (from what we know so far).

Almost looks like an undershirt. I'm not sure though. I thought the same thing though.

I noticed later his name is Fuse, perhaps hinting at his dual nature? He is also a welder.

I haven't seen anyone mention it in this thread, but I'm very excited for the Teal brick separator in #70831!

The more I look at it the more I think it is just a dirty, grimey undershirt. The welding mask printing is fantastic!

Rofl he's still not wearing pants. That's a good line up of minifigs. I can't wait to see most of them for about five seconds in the movie.

I take back my negative comments earlier regarding the LEGO Movie 2 sets. This Statue of Liberty set answers every critisism I had. It is big, original, fun and unlike any set I have seen from LEGO before. It is amazing.

@Mr_Cross I can't agree. The more bigger and expensive sets LEGO release, the better. For me, they are the ones that really appeal. My favourite sets are almost always the biggest and it's nothing to do with size, more the innovation, detail and sheer impressiveness that a large piece count enables.

Still in December and two big sets already on my 2019 shopping list. Another expensive year coming :) The set is simply amazing.

Maybe because that’s exactly what they were going for? That and, I hope, a good sendup of Mad Max.

Is it just me, or are metal knee pads/armor all the rage in Apocalypseburg this year?

TLM2 version of Harley Quinn is the best one yet. I want the set, but will definitely have to get it for the variant Super Heroes that are included.

Dang it... Want List is starting to mount in cost and space.

So I was listening to the radio this morning and heard Everything is Awesome and an announcer say something like, " From the people who brought you Everything is Awesome and Everything is Awesome Tween Dream Mix..." and it went on to introduce a new song. The words were something about being stuck in your head. They only played a snippet and directed you to the Lego Movie 2 website. I went and could not find the new song. Has anyone else heard this radio ad?

^I feel like I just heard the same thing, but it was on a Lego Movie 2 Happy Holiday trailer/teaser/something? Maybe look for that and see if you hear it.

As a further reference to Planet of the Apes, we just need a Charlton Heston MF (with Charlton Heston sound-alike) shouting out "Damn you filthy Duplo Bricks!"

The only issue I have with the unikitty is that she appears to be pretty much a standard version with nothing unique to make it worth adding to a collection.

I would have hoped for a more "special" Unikitty. Seems like a small variation of the Cheerykitty face in the SDCC #COMCON040-1.

I'm really enjoying all of the Wizard of Oz figs!

Which one will be 1 per box?

@pxchris I got it just for Polka-Dot Man! Well, not just for him. I do really like the way all four vehicles fit together.

So... what I hear you saying is that you want to sell me the Witch/Monkey figs for cheap!

That's great news for those of us that like it.
That's the good thing about LEGO, it has something for everybody to enjoy.

No doubt the Wizard of Oz figs are going to be the big draw for this set. Plus, is the one a nod to Josie and the Pussycats?

It looks like there are 20 figs, if I am seeing it right. Maybe none will be a chase figure!?

Apparently it translates to "Pay attention! More sets are coming May 2019."
(Not my translation, so don't complain to me if its wrong :P )
