Yes I can. I can also just pop in the DVD or play the ISO I pulled from it... ;-)

It's very strange. Can you imagine some poor fellow who just wants to look up a Youtube tutorial for a sponge cake and is met with two hours of bricky madness?

Am I the only one that finds weird that apparently no BrickHeadz from TLM2 are being released?

I guess that’s because it’s a possibility there won’t be any new brickheadz in 2019

Or just that they haven’t been announced yet… don’t forget, both the LEGO Batman Movie BrickHeadz and LEGO Ninjago Movie BrickHeadz were both announced and released later than the initial wave of playsets for those themes. Not to mention, they could be store exclusives of some kind, which would make them less likely to appear as early as other leaks.

My local Lego Store is staffed by some very special people. I casually asked yesterday if they had any intention of shelving the Lego Movie 2 product prior to release day (as is known to happen on occasion), as I don't want to miss out on several of the sets and have to wait months for a restock (*eyes Benny's Spaceship!*). I clearly explained that I wasn't asking to purchase them right then, but that I wanted to be sure that when I arrive on the release day they will have stock, but he got defensive and literally kept interrupting me to reiterate that they had not recieved the stock yet. It was surreal.

Well what do you want them to do? Make up stuff that you want to hear? Working retail sucks, especially this time of year. Most regular employee types have no idea when stuff is coming or how much and even if they did they don't have power to make promises about what will happen with it.

The issue wasn't if he did or did not know the answer to my question, or even if he did and couldn't tell me. It's that he refused to even answer what I was asking. He was repeating information completely unrelated to my query. A simple "I have no idea" would have completely satisfied me (and, honestly, was the response I'd expected). I just thought to ask while I was there, rather than have to pester them with phone calls during thier busy season.

^ Maybe it’s like with doctors. They never tell you they don’t know; they just reiterate something they do know.

So, just seen Jangbricks video on the new sets, and there are some spoilers on the packaging. Firstly, Sweet Mayhem's spaceship comes with a second head for her. Secondly, Benny's fellow spacemen are called Lenny, Kenny and Jenny (Jenny is the white one).

#70832 & #70833 are available on s@h. All of the other TLM2 sets are still listed as "Coming Soon."

CMF options maybe? Or promo poly bags. TLM2 is going to cost me so much!

I would guess the latter if anything, since if they'd be released at all it'd make sense to do so near the holidays and the CMFs are due to release after the holiday season has all but wrapped up. Though it wouldn't surprise me to just not see these particular variants released at all.

It feels a bit like a Squatty Potty reference.  (Rainbow soft-serve, anyone?)

CMF is much more accessible for those of us in Aus, but if they did get released, I’d expect to see them like Western or Pyjama Emmet

I think "magical creature bodily humor" goes a lot further back than that. I feel like I can remember seeing plenty jokes with premises like "santa's reindeer poop glitter" or "unicorns puke rainbows" as far back as ten years ago… in the very least, the "Charlie the Unicorn" video was elevating those kinds of jokes to meme status as early as 2010.

Glitter vomit is honestly a little tamer than a lot of those examples I'm thinking of. At least it's not quite as… visceral.

Did you look at the rest of the site? If it’s a parody, it’s a crazy elaborate one that doesn’t strike me as funny at all.

Huh... maybe not, then. I may have hastily jumped to that conclusion because of the shamelessness of the photoshopped boxes and the lack of any sort of link to a source, but I'm not exactly tuned in to those sorts of marketplaces where knockoffs are sold.

In any case, Lego now has the precedent of the first case on their side, so if it comes down to another lawsuit they'll be starting from a stronger position.

Fake fakes?  If I were Lepin, I'd sue.

Perhaps double fakes makes something geniune?

More like a copy of a copy of a copy. Quality goes down the more you Xerox it.

Not quite as desirable as Brickbeard but interesting build and part colours considering it's only a polybag - multiple Statue of Liberty heads! Also love the mood change ;)

Looks fantastic to me—especially if that sad face for the star doesn't show up in any other sets. Plus I can't remember that many other polybags with this level of mechanical functionality!

It also reminds me a lot of the Piece of Resistance polybag from the first LEGO Movie in that it depicts one of the scenes that really kicks off the events of the movie.

Like they would ever release a set of that scene to scale with how it appears in the movie. That should be left for the MOCs.

Wow. It does look pretty awesome. Which makes sense, considering their song choices.

    Ramshackle, haphazardly constructed design? Check.
Multiple levels with Ninjago-City styled details? Also present.
Battle-hardened 'Where are my Pants' guy?' You better believe it!
Western Green Lantern? I'm digging it.

Overall, quite impressive. The only thing I'd nitpick is the noticeable lack of sewer babies...
