Chrome storm trooper

palmers9grbpalmers9grb Member Posts: 275
Hello all, just wondering if there is any difference in the mini fig between the magnet set (852737) and the poly (2853590).

All I can see is that the blaster is different.
Thanks

    Ah, forgive me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't the magnet have, well, magnets in it? Or are they just in the brock it's mounted on? Or was @palmers9grb just asking about the external appearance anyway?

    The magnet is in the base, it's just a normal (detachable) minfigure on top

    Let's put it this way - the value in an unopened chrome stormie polybag is pretty high, but higher than the magnet, despite being essentially the same minifig

    Thanks for the input. That's what I thought. As the polys are up to £80 and the magnet pack is anything from £24 up.

    I only wanted the fig, for a display piece on the history of storm troopers. I'll try and pick one up on the cheap then. Thanks again

    One is a polybag and the other isn't, so polybag collectors favour the first.

    If you find any cheap one, whilst looking, I would like one, as I just wat a funky trooper, magnet or not :)

    There is a fine line between a Pro-Poly and an Anti-Bagite.

    @CCC?

    I'm polybag inclusive.  And I happen to have chrome stormtroopers of both varieties.
