Another month, another chance to get those creative juices flowing...
As we know from Series 18, the minifigures are throwing an anniversary party in Billund and Lester has been invited. But how is he going to get there?

He has to get from London to Billund, so your mission this month is to help him on his way. You can build whatever you like so long as it relates to his journey. A brick built map, a vehicle to get him all (or part of the way), vignettes from different parts of the trip, his passport photo, tickets... Whatever idea grabs you.
Hopefully there will be something to suit every style of builder and we will see lots of different entries.
The Rules:As usual, this should be a new creation and not something you have posted online before.
Size does not matter this month, so long as you have time to finish your entry by the end of April.
You do not have to own a Lester figure to enter - he doesn't need to feature in the entry (especially if you don't want to build in mini-figure scale) or stand-ins are just fine.
Max two pictures per entry (but feel free to link to others hosted off-site).
Multiple entries allowed, but each to its own post please.
I will announce the winner as early into
November May as I can... Obviously the more entries we see the longer it will take me to judge.
The prize will depend on the winning entry and what the winner happens to own already (keep those "owned by" lists on the main site up to date folks!) but suffice it say that if you don't already have him there will be a Lester available...
Good luck, and have fun building.

This flying umbrella is the perfect way to beat the traffic, fully equip with wind power steering and comfy seating. Lester can sit back, take in the view and enjoy a range of snacks and meals which are provided from Mary Poppins bottomless bag.

I took inspiration from often the most overlooked part of a journey but as a person more comfortable with both feet on the ground this is actually the part I find most fun.
Here we can see lovely Lester as he travels through the airport. From making sure his luggage is within regulation, through check in and into the inevitable HUGE queue. Next it's a stroll via security with a quick stop at passport control and back out the other side at the baggage claim carousel.
He had such a fab time at the airport that he didn't want to leave. (Unfortunately the present he put in the hold got diverted to Luxembourg, so he has to leave the airport to find a gift before he can finally make his way to the party. :D)
Lester had grown tired of his Star Wars sets stealing all of the shelf space, so he decided to build a submarine, that could sneak all the way into Billund. It's certainly not one of his most aesthetic builds, but what it lacks in beauty it compensates in efficiency.
I will post a link to some more, and better, pictures when I can get the lightning and the backdrop right...
Not not going to put much of a description here as my post has more in it: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bh_v8dTABYi/

Got another entry in the works too.
"I've a feeling we're not in Billund any more."
Lester was doing OK on his travels but took a wrong turn somewhere along the way.

Also, anyone up for hosting May?

Alrighty then, let us have some final analysis…
First up we have the simplest of ferries from @eanair with superb white cliffs. I also liked the transition from coastal shelf to deep water through the change in plate colour. Simple but effective.
@Bumblepants gave us a very chunky car which Lester surely “borrowed” from some Sky Pirates while they weren’t looking. Chainsaws supporting the front lights makes this one to steer clear of if seen in the rear view mirror.
Then Mary @Pebbles Poppins turns up with her supercalifragiliciousexpialidocious oversized flying brolley. Good to see this can be moored or anchored safely, although I’d worry about that bird affecting the balance.
@FowlerBricks teamed up with Ronin to get Lester across the water and did give me a genuine LOL moment when I spotted the sausage control yoke. And if that wasn’t enough he then returned with an impressive blimp which gives me a slight worry due to the hole in the forward gas bag.
Newcomer @Marmite appears now, taking us to the airport even if we got no further. It seems a Mr T Stark went through the scanner just before Lester, but the sniffer dog looks friendly enough.
Slipping under the waves next with @the_creative_box and a rather natty submarine, seems like a good way to smuggle loads of sets back home.
Some serious firepower in the first of two entries from @TheLegoMaster35 will certainly deal with any obstructive customs officers, while entry two has serious stompability.
Nearly there, we take the yellow brick road with @Brainslugged and the Beast doing great Cosplay as a lion and I see the tin man has been upgraded to human 2.0
And although the bedroom will have to be left to our imagination @snowhitie has given Lester somewhere to rest his head. Although I do worry about the milk be8ng left out of the fridge.
So, lovely entries all, thank you. And the winner has to be @Pebbles for Ms Poppins for great curves on the basket. So drop me a pm with your details and I’ll rustle up a prize...
@the_creative_box smuggling sets home, lots of the builds were much roomier than mine, maybe I should have added an extra basket to stash all the Lego goodies :)
