Minifig heads ....

hi - I’m trying to work out the most cost effective way to acquire lots of random minifig heads for a art/decoration project. Any ideas if just using eBay for job lots or picking specific heads through bricklink would be better. Or am I missing a trick and there’s a other way?

You can get new ones online from lego for about 20-25p each.

The answer probably depends on how many you want, how different they need to be, any colours or just yellow, plain ones allowed, new or used, etc?

Postage can be significant if you are buying lots of smallish job-lots, so one big order might be better.

A search like this will order them cheapest first at BL, but you might want to add in a minimum of 10 for each one to identify the bulk sellers.

If it doesn't work a search for 3626* picks up most standard heads.
