lego walking dead

Hi I often read the posts on this forum with amusement and for its helpfulness, I would really like to know the best way to acquire a set of walking dead minifigs whats your thoughts on fake ones (a touchy subject) or do I stick out for proper lego?

There won't be proper LEGO Walking Dead unless they really change the direction of the company. Macfarlane has done building sets from Walking Dead, but they are not really lego-like, just an assembly of pre-molded parts.

If you want the minifigures, Decool and the other fake companies are the way to go. Although I'm not sure if fakes is the right word when they are not strictly fakes of actual LEGO minifigures, but are infringing on LEGO's minifigure design.

Thanks for that, I will look them up, we have lots of minfigs and I prefer proper lego and like you say can't see lego producing them as they are not really kid friendly are they. which is a shame because I bet they would come out with some really good sets!

Hey, Im in the same boat. I am making a TWD MOC and decided to stick to real Lego and make it from produced parts only. No printing, just trying the best I could with what I could find in used lego and what I had.

The way I see it, is, you dont paint, colour or make bricks for MOCs that aren't in that colour, so MFs should be no different.

Here's my; Rick, Negan, Simon and Carl (yes, I know i need a pirate head for Carl, but best I have atm (if anyone has a good Carl eyepatch head, please post to me :) ))

    Just my opinion anyway

The Shark Army Thug in several of the Ninjago sets has an eyepatch. Not sure if that would do.

This sounds like something BrickMania might do. They do a lot of custom printed minifigs. They've been expanding into non-military themes lately. You could contact them and ask nicely :)

@legohouse: If you want an "official" version of Michonne, you should get the #76099 Rhino face-off by the mine set. After all, Danai Gurira plays both Okoye and Michonne.
