I'm on holiday in New York and bringing back some NYC minifig magnets #853599 and Statue of Liberty magnets #853600 for friends at work.  $5.99 each - happy to bring some more back if UK Bricksetters want any.

    Hi.  Just checked.  They don't do SoL keychains, but they do do the minifig with the New York t-shirt on a keychain.

    That, and you won't be able to walk past any metal objects!

    To those in the UK, with a Minifig magnet and a SoL magnet, I've been sending them out in a small padded envelope with a 2nd class Large Letter stamp.

    I'm now a bit concerned that it'll be touch and go as to whether it will fit through the Post Office's plastic size guide thingumajig, as the SoL torch sticks out a bit.

    If anyone gets charged excess postage, let me know and I'll refund you.

    For anyone overseas or with a larger envelope, I've been to the Post Office counter, so I know they're fine.

    ^ Don't be daft.  Let is know what extra it will cost to be sure and we'll send additional funds. Better off paying a little extra now than run the risk of getting fined.  :)

    @BooTheMightyHamster - I sent you a couple of PMs as I don't have the amount or email to send you funds. Very kind (and trusting) of you to be sending these out possibly without receiving payment first. I'd like to get you paid asap if I'm still on the list.

    Hi.

    Ok, most people's figs are in the post.  Just Brainslugged to go.  The postage is actually £2.90 rather than 76p, due to the SoL torch sticking out a bit too far, so it becomes a small package rather than a small letter.

    I've upped the postage on the ones that went out today - don't worry about sending any more money - stick a pound in the tin next time you see someone collecting for Cancer research and we'll call it even.

    My apologies to the first half a dozen that went out with just a 76p stamp on if you do get clobbered for additional charges.

    No such trouble with postage for mine @BooTheMightyHamster. Arrived safe and sound with a large stamp attached. In any case I’ll pop a fiver in the cancer research tin next time I see one.

    Thanks again

    In your opinion, which one experiences heavier traffic?

    @77ncaachamps

    Hi,

    Yes, I went to both the Rockefeller Centre store and the one at the Flatiron.  The Flatiron one was usually pretty quiet compared to the Rockefeller store.

    Rock Center store has a unique footprint. When you add the insane foot traffic they get daily, the split level layout creates a crazy bottleneck. If you want a laid back type atmosphere then i would recommend Flatiron store. You'll find a better range of sets because it's much bigger and has the normal Lego store design. If you have time in your schedule, you should check them both out.
