Help with removing old paint & spray paint from Lego bricks

Hello!

I was hoping someone who has dealt with a similar mishap as mine could help me figure out what product/s could help to remove old acrylic paint, as well as old spray paint from Lego bricks?

I'm trying to find something that could hopefully warm up/melt the old paint, so that way I could just rub it off without scraping the plastic and making marks.

Anyone know of what I could try using? Anyone else had this issue and found a good solution?

Black paint is acrylic, and tan paint is tan spray paint

Use bricklink to buy new parts. You might be able to get it off with a weak solution of an organic solvent (meths, thinners, spirit, etc) in water but it will be a lot of work and the parts will smell and discolour too. Dump them and get replacements.

^ well that sucks. My brother thought it be a good idea to paint army camo on my classic space minifigs. Not all but we had a bunch of them.
