Quick question about selling

I want to sell off most of my collection, and I want to try to simplify it as much as possible.

Is this the correct part of the forums to do so?

Yup. 

I would also suggest letting prospective buyers know your relative location, and I would factor the lack of seller fees when setting your prices.

It's also useful to include set number (prefixed by "#") and name, plus condition (MISB, built - complete etc.).  If the sets are opened and / or if the boxes are in less-than-favourable condition, adding a few photos is a good idea.
