Repairing 12V motors

BeauBricksBeauBricks Member Posts: 19
Hey everyone!

I have recently gotten some 12V motors, but as you can see they have a bit of a problem...
I have two red ones where red wheels are replaced with black ones and the black one which is in pieces.
Does anyone know how to repair these?
They all still run, so I do not want to fiddle around too much.

Thanks in advance!

Whilst I don't like diverting to another site, if I remember correctly if you poke around in the 'Train Tech' section on Eurobricks there are some good discussions on how to repair these - it does require cracking open the casing though!

Though the wheels just pull out with enough effort, but best to check with an expert..
