75192-1: Millennium Falcon still available new?

Does anyone know if the big new Millennium Falcon is still available directly from LEGO, or is this product only available on the second hand market?
I managed to get mine before Christmas after a campaign of calling the store each time they got a shipment to see if they have it, but the LEGO site has said Temporarily Out of Stock for a while...

Based on the availability of 10179 and other very large sets, it should be available for several years.  LEGO has just had problems keeping up with initial demand.

TLG would have planned for this set to be available for a long time, at least 2-3 years minimum, so it's just a case of supply not reaching demand. Glad you got one though, and you're part of the Black VIP card club too!

This set should be available for quite some time.

So annoying wish I waited now lol, been so much easier to get it home as could of collected from Waitrose to!  I guess they are selling it as biggest set ever and a lot will buy because of that as don't think they ever sold death star?

^ People that are likely to buy the UCS MF are also likely to buy other luxury goods at high prices. Which is why John Lewis want them to come through their doors.

They're selling it as biggest set ever, because it is the biggest Lego set.

The Death Star sets, while big sets, still had a smaller piece count.

JL have also put purchase limits on the set (5). I wonder how they are going to enforce them?

I would say simple economics will enforce it to an extent :)

Simple physics of carrying 5 sets will help enforce it.

Yes, in one transaction if in store. But also saying the till (or online cart) will only allow five will do the same. But what is the point of it, when you can go to the next store and buy another five. Why bother with a limit that will not be enforced.

I should set up my eBay shop, sell them at $1199.99 each just wait for the profits to roll in.

^ Still got my 'DO NOT OPEN UNTIL' shipping box, helps protect the precious box inside. Of course the fact that I have to store a massive empty cardboard box is inconsequential.

    For anyone interested:

Got a mail earlier from TrU Germany saying that MF will be available online "sometime during the course of the day" in a limited quantity only. They'll probably all be gone within 30 seconds.
