Pretty good deal? They are retail price.

I dunno about picking all of these up today. They are likely going to be out for at least a year and likely be put on sale at some point. I think Ill just wait as these sets are mostly at a good price, except IMO the Whomping willow set, but would be fantastic with 20% off.

With the way they are selling now and will likely continue to sell, I expect to see these for at least 2 years. I could be wrong. But this theme more than most has cross appeal for boys and girls and all different ages. I also am not biting until at least 20-30% off.

I can confirm Lego store in  Milwaukee, WI had the train....that being said most Harry Potter sold out in 5 minutes.

Just finished Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone as well as the Great Hall set. (took me about the entire movie with 10 minutes left)

Onto Chamber of Secrets and Whomping Willow! This is fun!

Ugh. I wish I had known about the train at Lego stores. I did not even try to go to mine. As for Target... I went there for other items, but my Target store had absolutely nothing out, nor a location for any of the items to be put out. I am not convinced my store even got any in.  I just wanted to see them. I will stay content with the items I have ordered, and keep a watch for the rest of the HP items...

mini-figs, train, Fantastic Beast sets and crazy big set

While I know these will be discounted at some point,  I have known for years if they ever released again, we would again buy every single item. Same kiddo that was obsessed with the last release is already ecstatic about this release. Honestly, the nanofig set is a must have item here, and that is before even seeing it, so hopefully they do not mess up that release.

Stopped by my LEGO Store today, and they had some sets, and Brickheadz out. The store manager said LEGO allowed them to put them out, but once they sold out it would be a month before they got more in.

Is anybody in the US seeing them listed on Lego.com? I've tried a couple times today and cannot locate them.
  • gmonkey76gmonkey76 Member Posts: 1,826
@ecmo47 Typed in Harry Potter, and they came up. There out of everything, but 2 Brickheadz.

Can anyone pick me up a train if i pay them a profit on top of grabbing it for me?

I did Whomping Willow during Prisoner of Azkaban and part of Goblet of Fire (used to build quicker but the 3 year old slows me down. My older kids just watched the movie).

Target.com shows the sets in stock in most of the stores around me except for the train. They're all available online though.

Anyone imported these into the UK before? If so can I ask what customs charge to expect?

£8 processing fee, plus 20% VAT on the price paid including postage. Then another 4.7% (I thnk) for import duty if your order is over £135.

    You are better off waiting.
  • LegolisLegolis Member Posts: 248
Thanks CCC, I figured as much. :(
Got a place near me that say they will sell me a sealed box but they can’t confirm in advance if or when they will come in. Might try asking in some other stores and see if I can get a better response.

Any word yet on if any figures are going to get the police officer treatment?

Most likely the Harry with Invisibility Cloak, seeing as he's "invisible", and the only repeat character in the wave.

I doubt any are this time around. Normally there are not any chase type figures in  the CMF series.

Website says no, and I have been to two this morning to no avail.

For what it’s worth, my Lego store isn’t open yet, but I’m outside and no sign of any of the HP sets inside.
    Okay, thank you.  I'll wait

Hmm. My update on my backordered items indicates shipping mid-July. It will be interesting to see if that is the case. My brickheadz shipped.

Saw new HP sets on shelves at the Edina Target just now.
    #75950 $15
    #75953 $70
    #75956 $40
There’s a spot on the shelf for #41615 but it’s empty.

Is the distribution real? I know someone on Euro bricks spotted that 16+16+16+6+6 = 60 and so it was assumed that would be the distribution. But as normal, no credit to / source from where the get the information from.

^ I also bought a box but was intending to get two sets from it. Now I will have to fight the re-seller vultures around Denver to try and get the lone figure. Hoping that none of my children are going to want these.

Or go to a store with the figures and try to find that character, but I agree, this chase figure stuff needs to stop.

    Hello Brickset Members!

Here is our Harry Potter Collectible Minifigures Series pre-order:

    $219 / Box

We are not yet offering the set as the distributions have not been confirmed. I will repost when I am able to give more information on this.

Free domestic shipping within the US. $25 / box for international shipments.

Please DM with PayPal email address for invoice. I will try to get as much as I can of this series, but I anticipate it being pretty popular, so no guarantees on how long it will last. It is getting harder and harder to get a good supply.

Alright, that's all! Shipping sometime in the first couple weeks of August.

So, does anyone else feel there are way too many potion rooms or classrooms (or Snape's office) in these new sets? It seems like every room portion is devoted to something with potions.

@oldtodd33 ; I hear ya. Series 18 was crap, although it seemed that people found the Classic Policeman fairly easily. Unfortunately, the Classic Policeman is definitely not as desirable as a Harry Potter chase figure :(
  • CurvedRoadPlateCurvedRoadPlate Member Posts: 257
I still want to find a classic Police fig. This is getting frustrating
  • Jern92Jern92 Member Posts: 889
I was planning on sharing a box with 2 friends, but this messes things up completely. How frustrating. If I get a box now, no one is going to want the extra incomplete set of figures.

I think I'll just cut to the chase and get two sets. It may a be a bit more, we will see, but better than getting a whole box of figures for only two sets. I'll just have to trust I can find the chase figure in the store.
While likely more popular than the Classic cop, the 'potter' 'chase(that is the one per box figure)' figure is from the Fantastic beast movies and I'm not sure people will be lined up to find figures from those as opposed to the Luna, Sybil, and cloaked Harry
Only having two Luna, Sybil, and Cloaked Harry in each box is disappointing to say the least. Especially for those looking to get three sets out of a box.

I will say this. With both sets sandwiched like this into one set, one has to wonder if they will only do one CMF set. If that is the case, one also has to wonder if this is the only line for Potter and there will not be a second.
