Doctor Who - My Search For What to MOC

Hey all!

In honor of last nights glorious little episode of this fine television program - I've decided to MOC something as Lego has done a poor job of giving me my fix of this franchise. Simple request really - What are some sets my fellow fans have dreamed of, to spurn my creativity of what to build.

Cheers,

Unit headquarters and vault with references to other monsters and episodes would be cool!

As someone who hasn't watched Dr Who since the days of Tom Baker, I'm going with something from the days of the best Doctor of the lot - Jon Pertwee.

I did see a brilliant moc of the tomb of the Cybermen a while back... How about the museum that holds the Pandorica? Or a microscale Dalek city?

I know what you mean, I hoped that DW would be picked up from Ideas the way Minecraft was.  TARDIS Control Rooms are always a good one, the 9th/10th coral type would look good.  What about a giant TARDIS standing on the battle field of trensalore?  Or perhaps the singing spires of Durliam?  Or the Starship Titanic?

Probably depends upon which doctor you consider to be "your" doctor. For me it's Ten, but I really l love Peter Capaldi, Jon Pertwee & Patrick Troughton as well. I had various degrees of success in creating minifigures of all 13 doctors (including the war doctor) & will have to try my luck with the new one once I see her in action. I used only existing Lego parts + a custom scarf for Tom Baker.

As far as figures go - I would probably go to order a printed one using genuine parts from sites that offer detailed minis. For me 2, 7, and 12, are definitely my go to's. As someone mentioned previously the tomb of the cybermen might work well.

I might try ordering some custom printed ones in the future, though I was pretty happy with how the first seven doctors turned out. The more recent ones were much more difficult.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with!

Maybe go with the pandorica and Matt Smith in there? I think that could look really cool!

There is also this sort of thing. (Not mine by the way)

With quite a few variations of the TARDIS interior there is always scope to have a go giving it your own spin.
