looking for tips on making a custom lego technic trike.

    That's the obvious. Frame and engine needs to be designed but I need a few ideas.

    Tip two, google image search "Lego Technic trike" and build that.

    Regular trike or the sort of thing you see on Custom car shows?  If it's the latter, then a couple of huge wheels from the CLAAS Tractor or somesuch and something smaller at the front.  Long front forks.  Exposed suspension.  Use one of the seats from the Arocs truck or something similar.  Engine with moving pistons would be good.  Steering might be tricky, but maybe look at the BMW bike from last year for ideas.
