Park Ranger Minifigures (Lego Compatible)

I enjoy visiting National Parks and was interested to see the following in my email today advertising these Lego compatible minifigures...

Most of the parts appear as stock Lego (dark green pants, generic head, ranger hat), except the torso is a custom print. The print is very close the forest police set. The $15 price tag is bit too high for me, but would hope that Lego might produce something similar in the future, especially with the recent forest and jungle sets that they been doing.

Aside from the ranger badge the Forest Police minifigs already seem to be very similar. What is the big deal about the customs compared to the existing Forest police? Is it the colour shirt or something?

I guess the problem is that if they make them too close to what you want, there is the problem that (i) they become too focussed on one country and (ii) LEGO might get into trouble if they copy the uniform exactly.
