I thought it would be good to start a thread to discuss the best sales that will be happening over the next few weeks with Black Friday.

I know the Walmart #10704 for $20 seems ok. Not quite as good price per part as #10697, but two years in a row of that one was more than enough.  But I haven't seen much else interesting.  Anyone else see anything interesting?

Good idea for a 2017 thread...I have heard only things like what [email protected] is offering (the nutcracker ornament). I'm sure this thread will be very useful in the coming weeks though. That and people should watch the store threads (Amazon, walmart, TRU, etc) as I have a feeling sites like Amazon, Walmart, and Jet now, will have some good deals in the next few weeks. Fairly certain-if my memory is right- the weekend before BF has some good deals last year.

The only thing at Target that looks interesting to me is the Lego batman DVD.  They have in the past, had a bigger set that they put out on black Friday for a pretty good price.  Don't know if they will have something unannounced on Friday or update the sale flyer.

I dunno but looking at Best Buy, I wouldn't be surprised if they did.
The Lego Dimension shelf space has shrunk to an endcap at my multiple Gamestops.

Tru also has a number of sets for 30-40% off but most seemed to be pretty much in line with current Amazon deals so not that interesting.

Yep for Sat and Sun this weekend I believe. Not to all offers I'm guessing, as some stores have in store offers on BF, but Double points, and I think the Nutcracker promo will be available.
I think Amazon had a ton on Sale the weekend before BF last year as well, if I recall correctly.

Interesting. If you are over 99 in the [email protected] cart now it has the #40221 Fountain in the cart again. Wonder if it will stick around when the preBF sales starts.

^All I'm seeing is Nutcracker promo, double points and free shipping on all orders.  No special discounts (those are Brick Friday I think).

We're supposed to get "special Brick Friday offers" according to the November store calendar though.

I grabbed the Tie Stiker for 30% off and some of the Christmas ornaments and magent set that are no longer available online. The free bag was a yellow reusable shopping bag, next weekend will be the canvas bag (sale from the other $199+ promo)

It was disappointing that LEGO did not stack the Fountain with the nutcracker since nothing was appearing on sale online. At least give everyone that was looking something a bit more. I wonder if the Classic Batcave will go lower on BF.

I was wondering the same about the batcave.  I want to pull the trigger, but mostly for the figures and the car.  Guess we will see next Friday whether there is another % taken off.

Took advantage of the double VIP and got the nutcracker and yellow tote bag with my London Bus at the Mall of America LEGO store. Turns out there was a Women of NASA just sitting at the checkout, so I got that too :)

IMO Its been quiet... too quiet.. I think last year there were a lot of sales the weekend before BF. Other than the 50% off dimensions it has been quiet

Or get the Duplo box and get free shipping.. I just cannot get excited for this box, and considering that they are still available Im guessing many others not not too jazzed (though I guess it could be because many may not realize this is available now). Considering I still have a bunch of the older, larger, and better (IMO) creator boxes from last year Im not too jazzed for this .

I am sure this has been answered before, but do bricks and pieces orders on LEGO Shop at Home count towards promotional sets? Like if I were to spend $200 on a B&P order this weekend would I qualify for the canvas tote?

^Sales start at 12 AM EST tonight, per the Lego Shop website.

I wish we could get a list before tonight so I'd know if it was worth staying up for. Based on past years the Nutcracker will be available for days and I have to be at work on Friday, so would prefer to order not at midnight if nothing good is on sale.

BTW, Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Bricks and pieces do not (at least did not for me). I know because I had a 136 dollar order sitting in my cart during the pre BF promo and the Nutcracker did not appear. However, it does count toward double points.

Well, it is still early yet and I am curious as to what will be on sale for LEGO on BF at [email protected] (cause Im not going to bother trying to get to a LEGO store tomorrow). I figure there will be some sales on LEGO, otherwise this was a relatively quiet sale year for LEGO sets IMO.
Looks like some LEGO Batman movie sets are 30% off at Amazon.. Scuttler, and Two Face Demolition.. Not great if you managed to find them on Clearance at Walmart earlier this year, but not bad if you need them still. Still hoping the Scuttler goes lower still

Expect that a LOT from Walmarts site. Likely if you missed it, you missed it to be honest.
