Wow, LEGO was fast

After hearing about the double promos (Lloyd and cave people), I went ahead and ordered the Winter Village Station on Thursday. On Friday, I came home and the family were all clamoring to find out what was in the big package for me. Apparently, LEGO can ship to me in one day now! Past years it really did take 3-8 days, usually on the high end of that range. Kudos to TLG!

My last order shipped faster as well, I just attributed it to them gearing up staff wise for the holidays.

I ordered the Old Fishing Store and a few Ninjago CMF a couple of weeks ago on a Thursday. They arrived at my door on Monday. That's fast imo.

From what I hear that's happening a lot more often since they moved the warehouse to outside of Chicago. It's probably has something to do with new technology, and being closer to a major airport.

Canadian orders are arriving much faster too. My last couple of ones got here in 3 days, and they still come from the US

Yeah got my Saturn V real quick and checked the return address, good ol' Romeoville, IL (about 30 minutes where I am living)

I've noticed this too. I ordered the Classic Batcave a while back, and it came in like 2 days. I had the standard shipping too.

You're telling me. I placed an order for the winter village train and train station and forgot about the double points just days away so tried to cancel just 5 minutes later and was told it was already being processed. Shipped the next day and got it one day later.

The orders I placed last night only took about 4-7 hours to ship, even with the promos.  Brick Bank was on backorder and still shipped in 4 hours.  They must have expedited processing, as well as gearing up for Christmas, new tech, and changing warehouses as others have said.

I also ordered a Technic set from amazon a few days ago and it arrived approximately 36 hours after the order was placed.  Granted I have Prime, but most packages usually take 3 days at least.

I made two orders last night around midnight. By 6 AM I already had shipping confirmations. Looks like they aren't on trucks yet, but I won't argue too much. Estimated delivery is Friday.
