Anyone attending New York Comic Con this week? I would greatly appreciate it if someone could pick me up one of these ;)

It's a ridiculous lottery system, not something 95% of the people will even get...  So frustrating, and this from someone who *will* be there but will most certainly *not* be able to get them.

Yeah, unfortunately I was just informed by the from Huw’s front page article, the drawing ended a couple days go. I was really hoping someone I knew from the US could pick me one up, that news just put me down. It would’ve been better if it was on a first come first serve basis or similar. Really hope these end up in the hands of fans and real collectors, and not scalpers (we all know that is never the case...) :/

Who will then sell to fans/collectors. So what is the issue? You make it sound as if these go exclusively to those with the intention of selling.

And even fans have their price - see Lester (pre polybag).

I wish Boba Fett had a white range finder.

I know people who sell their NYCC and SDCC purchases to subsidise their trips to these events.

Good luck therefore to anyone who expects attendees to go through the rigmarole of aquiring one of these and then pass it on at anything other than a huge profit....
