Just been into the store Leicester Square to see it in the flesh.  Feeling a little bit sheepish if I've really been hidden behind a rock, but the back of this doesn't include the rigging?

The rigging was on the one in Leeds. Dodgy builders / thieves* in that London.

    * delete as you wish.

Hopefully most will be commuting to work at that time.........after all if more then 3 people try to order on the Lego site, it comes to a grinding halt :-)

As your ahead I hope its 8.30am in Germany as I think the stock is EU wide but I am guessing you will get an hours head start like you do for sales.

Anyone getting a cab back to Tower Bridge area afterwards and wants to share the cost?

Lego employee has taken back his sword, so it won't be me holding it now.

Methinks @caterham7 is the type of guy who drives an open top sportscar whatever the weather at insane speeds. Queuing in a t-shirt will mean nothing to him ;-)

^Spot on.  Let's see if it's still t-shirt weather at midnight...

For those queuing and wishing to read something may be worth nipping to see if you can get a copy of the 3 page glossy A4 flyer. Has nice close up shots. Picked up a copy last week in store. And being glossy its waterproof...

Regarding the timeline, any idea how that applies in the US?  S@H is still showing just October 1, so I'm staying up til midnight I guess...

Wow, disney are harsh with freebies. Even Kylo Ren has to queue up for a falcon.

Thank you @SMC that's actually good news. Sleep is good!

If there are any brochures left there, would any of you in line mind picking me one up if you're allowed? Happy to reimburse for time, effort and postage! PM me if you can?

You did the wrong thing by wearing them. You should have kept it pristine, and then sold it on ebay afterwards as an unused limited edition wristband from the UCS MF signing event! ;)

I know, it's weird.  The queue is looped round and the end is by me in the next isle.  No. 68.  I've gone from 13 to 21.

^^ As if we had a choice.

600no. wristbands handed out to allow access 8nto the store between 12am and 1am.  We are expecting a numbered card or similar that will allow those first 150 to buy the Falcon.

Wasn't there some crazy hoohaa with the queue for the grand opening? Like it looped round and people who thought they were in the queue actually weren't?
  • caterham7caterham7 Member Posts: 409
    78 now.
  • Mr_HobblesMr_Hobbles Member Posts: 321
Very much appreciating the updates C7, hoping I'm there in time to be <100. If not, just heading home as I don't live that far away. :)

    84.  And still t-shirt weather. :)

Jesus Christ!  I just realised that you're NOT calling out your revised place number.
  • playwellplaywell Member Posts: 2,333
So we have all been guess at what time you had to be there by to be in the top 100 and it looks like 5pm was the number. Which means no hope for those going to work or driving in after the congestion charge ends.

I always wonder in these early queuing situations - what do you do if you need the toilet? Number 1 or heaven forbid, a number 2?!!!!

Lost exact count, but make it 91 in queue now.

Just checked that, Q etiquette is for neighbour to hold your place while you run to McDonald's next door.

    And two more have joined...

    I made it at #94!

Literally a handful more people came in immediately after me making it 98. I'm not sure if it's now over 100 or not.

Woohoo for @mr_hobbles, after you posted at 5 you were still half hour away I thought, oh no that's just going be in or out. Glad you made it.

Hope Bricksetters coming from work are still able to make the first 150.
